1. Information we collect and device permissions
To provide and improve the service, the App collects the following information and requests access to certain device features.
- Account information: your email address and the user identifier provided by authentication providers such as Apple or Google
- Profile and posts: your username, avatar image, and café records (place information, reviews, photos, notes)
- Device features:
- Location (GPS and similar): used to search for and save cafés near you on the map. The App does not collect location data in the background.
- Camera and photo library: access is requested so you can upload a profile picture or photos of cafés you visited. Only images you explicitly select are collected.
2. How we use your information
We use the collected information for the following purposes.
- Providing and improving the App's features
- Providing the paid plan (subscription) and managing its status
- Monitoring and responding to misuse and violations of the terms of service
- Responding to user support requests and producing statistics in a form that does not identify individuals
3. Third-party services and data sharing
To operate the App's infrastructure and certain features, data may be sent to or processed by the following third-party service providers, to the extent necessary.
- Supabase: database storage of user data and image files, and authentication management (secure cloud storage of data)
- RevenueCat: management of in-app purchases and subscription status (payment details are handled by Apple; only anonymized purchase history is sent to RevenueCat)
- Google Maps / Google Places: map display, location-based café search, and retrieval of place information
- Apple / Google authentication: providing Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google
The App uses Google Maps and Google Places. Information collected through these services is handled by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy, and your use of them is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
4. Content visibility
Content you post with the "Public" setting (reviews, photos, and so on) is displayed to and shared with other users of the App. Data set to private and individual account information are not provided to third parties, except as needed to operate the service as described above or as required by law.
5. Data storage and account deletion
Your data is stored in a cloud environment (Supabase) with appropriate security measures. You can delete your account at any time from "Delete account" in the settings screen. This process cascades and removes all associated data (profile, saved cafés, photos, and so on) from our systems.
6. Use by minors
If you are a minor, use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian where required.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you in the App or by other appropriate means.
